The automotive industry is currently undergoing a once in a century transformation. The business environment is rapidly changing, and many countries are taking steps, such as implementing more stringent regulations and promoting electric vehicles, to realize a carbon-neutral society. Furthermore, companies are strongly urged to contribute to SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) as part of their social responsibility. We are announcing "VISION2030 Beaming future is in our hands", which reflects our aspiration to realize a sustainable society through our business activities.

Our goals

1

Creating new values with proven technology and quality to enrich the society.

With the technological edge and our firm commitment to quality that our predecessors passed on to us, we will create new values and help realize a comfortable, environmentally-friendly, and prosperous society.

2

Making the present society more convenient

We will provide the world with clean, safe, fun, and comfortable mobility by utilizing the environmental technology and system development know-how we accumulated over the years. We will enhance the value of mobility by making mobility more friendly to the environment and people to ensure Aisan and its partners' continual growth.

3

Bringing happiness to future generations

We will shape the future and contribute to society by opening up the possibility of mobility and offering solutions to enrich society. We will strive to provide an everlasting, happy future to future generations.

ESG focused management

Social value, Environmental value, Economic value

Our History and Identity

By continuously refining our technology to adapt to the changes in society and automotive regulations, we have overcome many changes in the business environment and achieved phenomenal growth for over 70 years. Our willingness to take on challenges and the pride we take in quality is inherited from our predecessors.

  • challenges
    Our willingness to take on

  • The pride we take in the quality
It is essential to the function of vehicles.

  • Environmental Technology
    Secured compatibility with tightened regulations.

  • Sincere dedication
    to all of our stakeholders

History of technological innovations and challenges

1945
End of WW2. Switched production to consumer products. This was a new start for us, and it was the first step that we took in the automobile industry.
The 1970s
Won renown for its high-quality carburetors, and grew as a supplier for engine-related parts. Utilized new technology to adapt to exhaust gas regulations.
The 1980s
Converted production to electronically controlled fuel injection systems (EFI).
The 1990s
Developed new products and adapted to the electronification and increased functionality of automobiles.
The 2000s
Pressed ahead with modularization and established its technological edge over engine calibration.
The 2010s
Developed products for fuel cell vehicles

As a system supplier, we will keep developing products for a sustainable and low-carbon society

External environment

We analyzed how the global environment, social landscape, and mobility will change in the next ten years and identified the materiality (key issues) that we must focus on.

  1. Zero Evaporation Gas: Evaporation gas means fuel vapor (hydrocarbon vapors released from fuel tanks and intake manifolds).
  2. ICE: Internal Combustion Engine, Pure ICE: Combustion engine-only vehicles
  3. Connected, Autonomous/Automated, Shared, Electric.
  4. Mobility as a Service: The concept of integrating various forms of transport services into a single service.
  5. Model Based Development: A development system that utilizes computer simulation to refine a vehicle’s control and system.

Our plans to realize the vision

2 business fields and 3 foundation that will shape the future

BUSINESS DOMAIN and BASE

  • Mobility

Providing a clean and safe mobility for all
We will make use of environmental technology, our field of expertise, and provide better fuel economy, weight saving, cleaner emission, and vehicle electrification to contribute to the evolution of mobility. We will aspire to be the No.1 supplier by providing the best goods at the best price.
  • For the future society

Creating a “+1” value to enrich and improve the liveability of society
We will take on new missions beyond mobility, such as urban development, hydrogen technology, and enriching society. We will utilize the skills and technology that we accumulated to realize hydrogen society.
    • Digital transformation (DX)

      Agility and robotic innovation
The true purpose of DX is to “evolve the business model and organization to keep winning by utilizing IT tools.” We will implement flexible development systems, update our quality/productivity/procedures by utilizing digital technology, and begin the transformation into a smart factory.
    • Human resources

      Diversity and inclusion
A homogeneous organization cannot “create new values” that we need to realize our VISION. We will reform our organization so that everyone can respect their differences, such as race, gender, physical and mental challenges, and age, and unleash their potential.
    • Workplace culture

Aiming for further growth with our sense of pride and willingness to take on challenges
One person cannot create a new value. We must have pride and take responsibility in our work, work as a team, and promote a workplace culture that supports taking on challenges.

Our mind for Beaming future is in our hands

The phrase “in our hands” (from VISION 2030) refers to the individual employee’s resolve to “work with a sense of ownership”. As long as we don’t forget this resolve, there will always be a need for our products, and we can keep on making people happy, which in turn makes us happy. Ultimately this cycle of happiness will ensure the beaming smile of our children.
Aisan will continue to take on challenges to realize our VISION and sustainable society and to meet the needs of society.

VISION2030 is our tool to meet the SDGs (which must be met by 2030).
Aisan will keep on providing solutions to various social challenges through our business operations.
